Stephan Ogris-Levin

I'm a 26-year-old passionate 3D artist, with a keen interest in digital art, sculpting, drawing, painting and photography. Born in Montevideo, I grew up in Austria, where I currently live and work.
Throughout my life, I have dedicated most of my time to drawing and painting, exploring a variety of subjects ranging from comics to portraits. It was during my college years that I first discovered 3D software, creating my initial models in the 3D workspace of AutoCAD. Eventually I discovered Blender, a software that became my primary focus for creating interior & exterior sceneries, and later, products. This passion for product design and visualisation eventually led me to pursue a degree in Industrial Design at the FH Joanneum in Graz.
In more recent times I got into video games, a discovery that occurred relatively late in my life, just prior to the onset of the pandemic. It was during this period that I discovered a profound interest in 3D character and creature art (and digital sculpting in general), a passion that has remained my primary focus ever since.
Outside of creative work, I'm a former boy scout of over eight years and a calisthenics athlete, and spend most of my free time training, hiking and playing instruments (such as the piano and guitar).
Experience
During my time in this position, I created detailed 3D automotive scenes for clients including Mercedes, AutoNation, MobileDe, and AutoScout24. I supported the product's visual evolution, contributed to new feature rollouts, produced marketing and promotional visuals, and trained incoming 3D artists.
I was also part of a FFG (The Austrian Research Promotion Agency) project, as a 3D Engineer.
During my time in this position, I created virtual tours of interior and exterior environments using Unreal Engine 4. I also modeled and visualised furniture and architectural spaces with ArchiCAD, 3ds Max (including V-Ray), and Blender.
